Thread OP

I recently had a trumpet vine torn out by the tree that it was climbing and living in . The tree was blown down in a storm and the vine went with it. The trumpet vine had been growing on the tree for more than a century. Is there any way to transplant it, now that it was cut off about six feet above where it was rooted. Thank you

I would just dig up what roots you can and move it it should grow just fine. It's really hard to kill that stuff.
