...and a lump in my throat. Today, of all days, you posted a mountain trip and mountain pics.... thank you, sharon. I needed this so much, right now.

Like you, I lift up mine eyes to the hills, and find restoration for my soul. In fact, tomorrow i'm leaving my house at the crack of dawn and heading into the N GA mountains for much the same reasons.

thank you for this.... I can hold on until tomorrow, now.

I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll do that second week.

Sharon: Lovey dubby A simple heartfelt thank you for sharing the beauty of your mountains. Those scenes brought tears to my eyes. I was not born in the Appalachians but from the first time I laid eyes on them I felt like I was home. There's just something so serene and peaceful when you are in nature. My heart aches to see those mountains again but until then I'm heading to the photo files on my laptop to gaze at the scenery.

Places in the heart.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others.
