Do all of those grow wild where you are?
Or are they wildflowers planted in a garden?

We were at a nice camping resort. It's possible the owner introduced a 'wildflower mix' at some point for the Verbena and Vernonia. I don't know if those are common additions to planting mixes or if they are truly common there. There were meadow areas around the site.
The rest were in wild locations near Saxton PA (tiny town) and Raystown Lake, except the Verbesina (wingstem) was along the C and O Canal in Hancock MD

Very pretty! I especially love Impatiens capensis.

The last one might be Helenium autumnale. They start blooming about this time. https://www.ct-botanical-society.org/Plants/view/245

I have both vernonia and verbena hastata, but I had to get special seed packages for them--I wasn't able to find them in the wildflower mixes I saw-- but you never know!

Christine, that looks good. Thanks! These were at the base of a steep wooded hillside just above the water.
