Hello!

I know Areca Palms are great as an indoor natural air purifier but I wanted to know if there was any benefits to its growth? By that I mean benefits to the soil, or if it works to help with detoxifying soil it's planted in as well? I know it seems like a weird question but I had someone ask me the same thing and I was stumped!

That is a weird question. But it opens up to another question...why the need to detoxify soil?

I am not familiar with the varieties of Areca trees grown in pots as house plants. The only varieties I am familiar with are the ones grown in the ground that produces betel nuts.
