Anybody know which irises won the President's Cup, Franklin Cook Memorial Cup, and Ben Hager Cup at the AIS convention this spring? All of the 2016 awards have been entered into the database except those three. I always struggle to find them, for some reason.

TIA

Kent

@KentPfeiffer

Found this message on Hillcrest Garden's. http://www.hillcrestiris.com/a...
"My “Honkytonk Rumble” was awarded the Franklin Cook Memorial Cup at the 2016 American Iris Society National Convention"

Found the President's Cup and Beh Hager Cup listed here: http://www.aisregion2.org/summ...
President's Cup= "Put Another Nickel In"
Ben Hager Cup= "Moose Tracks"

They also list the Franklin Cook Memorial Cup and the Lloyd Zurbrigg Clarence Mahan Seedling Cup.

Thanks much. Thumbs up

On the subject of AIS awards. Does anyone know how Border Bearded Iris (Iris 'Banded Rose') won the Award of Merit without ever having been given Honorable Mention? I thought irises had to win Honorable Mention before they were even eligible for the Award of Merit?

Yay to Moose Tracks! Aitken's Banded Rose is really pretty.

And it is a list to the AIS awards for the year in case anyone else is interested which ones won, were runners up, etc. Just getting the info out there. Smiling
