Thread OP

I spotted this little plant cluster on the edge of a barley field, the little flowers are about 8/10mm across and are a lavender color. The clump is about 14cm across. Any ideas?

It's a Diodia (buttonweed.) There are several similar species.

Requesting to move this to plant ID so those who might help you determine which species of Diodia will more easily notice your question, and you can mark it solved when you've decided your investigation is finished.
