No we met Deb at the show. The year before we stopped on our way down at her open house. Deb's gardens are just beautiful. I don't think she has any semps or sedums. I did pick up some nice semps at one of the stands at the Plant Sale I will post pic of them when I get a chance.

I look forward to the photos? Nice to have you back home, and wondering how your rock wall is doing?

Lynn, I've got to spend more time "over here", what a great Cubit! Thumbs up

Holly's right, years ago we used to sell quite a few selections of Sedums and Sempervivums but they dropped off in popularity with our customers so we stopped growing them. Plus one of the vendors we usually exhibit with has an incredible selection and we try not to duplicate the type of plants the other vendors offer. Smiling

Holly if you and Ric ever do get to the sale at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden you'll have to visit the vendor I'm talking about - Ed and Gary of Stone Crop. http://www.stonecrops.com/inde... They don't exhibit as much as they used to, their business has really taken off selling their plants for "green roof jobs". They do, however, always show up for the Spring Fair at the VA Arboretum on Mother's Day weekend every year so if you had a chance to get back to VA that weekend I'm sure you'd find some wonderful choices. Their website doesn't look like it's been updated in some time but they have an excellent selection and some of the most unique container plantings. I think I have a few photos of their creations...if I can find them I'll have to post them in the Container thread. Big Grin

To keep this thread on track, Holly the name of the vendor who had the water garden on display is "Through the Garden". http://www.throughthegardeninc... Were you able to actually talk to anyone from the company on Sunday? I'm just wondering if we contacted them via email if they might be willing to share their "trade secrets" for what components they used to create this water feature? Confused

Debbie we would love to see photos of their containers. Thumbs up
And thank you so much for the kind words. We have all worked together and are still working to make this an information filled site that is user friendly and a fun place to learn about succulents. It takes a village to raise a Cubit. Big Grin
My mind has been turning with ideas of how to create something similar to Holly's photos above. I am even thinking in the line of now water. Will be interesting to see if they are willing to share their knowledge on how to make the water part work.
Do you think they (Through the Garden), might want to post a separate thread on how to make it? We would love to host a thread for them. Hurray!

I've never had an opportunity to meet the vendors (Through the Garden) but let me work on it - maybe if they're willing to "share" their information we could get enough information for an article? Blinking

I found my photos of Ed and Gary's creations (Stone Crop). No time to post them now but I'll try in the morning. I should post them in the Container Pictures thread, right? Confused

Hilarious! Hilarious! I'll head over there to see your pics. I never mind a little hijacking. These discussions seem to lead into other avenues sometime.

Well I already found it, and boy was that a treat Debbie. Thank you so much for posting those. I keep going back and looking at the photos. Are those two ever creative when putting containers together.
I move the last part of the thread so it wasn't so long, for the dial up users. It now is the beginning of #6. Hurray!
On my way back to look some more. Lovey dubby

When I saw this display at the plant show I just loved it. There are just so many things you can do with semps and sedums.

I would love to have that table.
I have never had a water feature, but sure would like to.

Garret, do you have a type to recommend? One that is easy to put together and maintain?
