re: Aegopodium podagraria L. 'Variegatum'

I didn't see an invasives forum...so I am considering this plant a pest. Years ago on a site I was woring on, it took 3 years to eradicate this demon-seed. My next door neighbor gas it and wants to eradicate it from all over his lot. Has anyone seen/used effective eradication measures on this invasive?
Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.
