This is the last project that we finished. We put the 2 rail fence around my 8 raised beds that I plant flowers in. DH did a great job. I say finished but it isn't. I will be adding flowers on both sides of the fence along the playground. Along the other 3 sides, I will add flowers only on the inside of the fence. The arbor was one that was in the asparagus patch by my raised veggie garden. I wanted both raised bed areas to match so I moved the arbor so we could get it all finished. I am really happy with the outcome.

The big yellow ring standing upright is a large bale feeder bottom ring. I had June bearing strawberries in the yellow ring and Ever Bearing in the white tire ring inside. They were in the way of the fence so I had to relocate my strawberries. I moved the dirt from both rings to the playground area with a little help from DH. I want to put down grass seed this fall in the playground but it needed dirt next to the lawn side. Then I covered it with tarps so the 3+ inches of rain we got that night wouldn't take my dirt away.

This first picture is the playground where I put the dirt from the strawberry rings. The second picture is my 10 raised bed veggie garden. I relocated the strawberries to a couple of these beds here. I have flowers planted in several others once the veggies were done. DH put an opening in the first section so I wouldn't have to walk all the way around the small flower bed to get to my garden shed. I'd like to put a small wooden bridge there in the opening but not sure.

This past week I came down with Diverticulitis so not much is getting done outside right now.

Thank you Kabby. I take great pride in my yard, flower beds, and gardens. This year has been awful for trying to keep the grass and weeds under control. Hopefully it will be somewhat easier next year.

I agree

Lots of work, but very satisfying to see the results, Jeanne!

Thank you NJBob and Weedwacker. They are a lot of work but I love it out there tending to my flowers and gardens and love sitting back and enjoying them. I hate to see winter coming but after all the fall clean up and preparation for winter is done, I will enjoy the rest as will all gardeners, I'm sure.

I built an enclosed garden with raised framed beds. Covered with chicken wire, The groundhogs and rabbits and squirrels were just eating everything.

It may look strange. The door is level, the yard slopes... LOL
