Dot - What a story! You crossed those plants because it was what was available on that given day. I won the auction for both of those because the other bidder of each auction didn't raise their bid to win. It was meant to be from the day you pollinated those blooms.

I am looking forward to sowing & growing those seeds and seeing what kind of blooms those two lovely crosses ultimately create. I am really excited about the prospects and possibilities of having those genetics now in my hybridizing program. Again, thank you so very much. Another note to Becky, if you had checked earlier. I sold many seeds from Stenciled Infusion. Those you got were what I had left. So next year if I'm still selling, check earlier maybe around August.

Dot - Geez, I wished I had known you had Stenciled Infusion seed crosses. But you know what .... I got the exact crosses I really wanted, so again .... it was meant to be ... my name was on those last couple of Stenciled Infusion seed packets. And the Stenciled Infusion x Dragonfly Dawn cross is the ONE cross that I truly wanted seeds of. There is no other cross that I can think of that would be MY #1 desired cross. (Except maybe ... Dragonfly Dawn x Stenciled Infusion .... )

I had honestly been staying away from the LA pretty much since March, so what pushed me to go there on Saturday at that exact time .... I can not explain it. If I had gone there even 5 minutes later, I would have missed bidding on SI x DD. And the fact that no one bid against my final bids .... well, I can not explain my sheer luck! Fate.

Nice haul Becky. I was looking at that cross...but I bought SI this spring...and I think I am going to cross it with my DD x Cobalt Rings seedling next summer.(oooh...I got that cross from Dot last year.)

Pam, gardenglory I just sent you a Lilyauction message. LOL I am going to be sending your seeds out tomorrow. I have been swamped with shipping and my mailbox only holds so many (six usually) at a time of the padded envelopes without squishing them. So have fun.

Becky, yes I sold several of the D. Dawn x Stenciled Infusion crosses. Next year if my health holds out there will be more. Seeds from St. In. are very popular.

Next year if it blooms well, I have a new one coming from Di DeCaire called "Zyzzified". It has northern genes. Seeds from it this year sold for a lot of money. I hope it blooms early enough to use the pollen on Dragonfly Dawn, it is my best pod maker. This year I had five clumps of D. Dawn and got over 125 pods.

Im feeling somewhat like a fool. I bid on a cross today, and I bid more than I usually would, because the auction said only offering this year.
I started to wonder if anyone else was using the same cultivar, and when I checked the closed auctions to see, ...what did I find, but the same cross I overbid on because of the only one this year thing, well, they sold the same cross less than a month ago. I know its buyer beware, but Im pretty ticked off.

Hopefully the seeds will produce beautiful seedlings that you won't mind the higher price that you paid for them. So sorry to hear that someone has to resort to deceptive advertising to sell their seeds. If it is any consolation, I too made mistakes in bidding because of the beautiful photos of the daylilies the seller posted. I think that I might have paid too much for them given the fact that they were older registered cultivars when I researched the cross further.

I figured it ut. My fault. Altho it doesnt say so, the sale was in march, not a month ago, so I believe they were from last year, as they sold that cross in 2015. This must be the only 2016 season offering. My faith is restored. Well in everyone but myself ;-o
