Thread OP

Hi everyone,
I am currently trying to find Information on the Golden Midget melon. Some reviewers were not pleased with the taste. I´d like to hear more opinions. Has anyone grown them? Did you like them?

Thanks!

Welcome! to NGA

When someone tells me about their newest favorite restaurant, I always consider the tastes of the person and decide if I am going to try the restaurant.

When considering new fruit trees, I go to farmers' markets, taste everything and ask the name of my favorites.

Watermelons are a one season commitment. You don't know these people or their tastes. Next year, grow one hill and decide for yourself if this particular fruit is a keeper.

Hi Daisy,

thanks for your advice, which definitely makes sense. Unfortunately my vegetable bed and greenhouse is absolutely loaded with plants already and I can only give space to a plant that comes with a good reputation. Smiling

What do you think of white peaches and nectarines?

Hm, I like white peaches. Nectarines are not my taste, though.

That was a trick question. I have had so many people tell me white peaches and white nectarines are the best. I hate them. Smiling
