I just checked the TB seedling pictures that Superstition has posted on the website where they post their pictures, and this one was labeled "Possible 2012 Introduction."

Thanks for finding those, Kent! I guess I didn't look very carefully, eh? They are totally beautiful, and I can already tell I will be getting some come next spring. I have to try to control myself, though, as I've bought so many daylilies this year (I'm up to 300 now) and want to do some hybridizing with them. But I will still be purchasing new iris introductions too -- can't stop myself, although maybe I can persuade myself that I can get by with only 50 rhizomes total in 2012 rather than 150!

My experience from past years with Superstition tells me that they will start inserting pictures of new ones they will be carrying in 2012 in November or December, and at each category there will be a brightly colored "NEW" showing the date that particular batch was updated -- and there can be several updates to each category as they add pictures. So check the date on the update to see if it's been updated again. And their 2012 introductions should be posted there by early January at the latest. That way I can pretty much tell what they will be offering long before I get their catalog. Oh, I do love Superstition Iris Gardens!

BTW, last night I also found a picture of one of Joe Ghio's new 2012 introductions in the Monterey Bay Iris Society's September newsletter. It's named DOUBLE PLATINUM.

And check out the pictures at the end of the beardless ones!

Here is the latest newsletter of the Monterey Bay Iris Society, and the first picture is one of Joe Ghio's new 2012 PCN (Pacific Coast Native) iris introductions. I love the color combinations of those irises, but unfortunately I don't believe they would survive in my climate. There are also a few more PCN pictures in the newsletter too.

I've been checking the Superstition seedlings again, and here are some labeled as 2012 SDB introductions:

And they have listed two possible 2013 SDB introductions. Love the first one!
