I'm sad to hear that, but thanks for telling me!

It seems like they are working on it, but I doubt if the site will be as good as it was for a long time ... Grumbling
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

I have to admit that, long ago, I decided the WU site had TOO MUCH DETAIL ... even for me!

Your thoroughness is so appreciated. This thread was making me so delighted to hear about what others are doing in my own neck of the woods, and then I receive the most amazing tutorial (some over my head, in a very good way) on weather. You and Lyn are natural born teachers, with curious and wise minds, your conversation was such a great read, and gave me a few new book marks to learn from. Thanks for your posts.

I really love reading what the Deb, Tarev, Pistol, so nearby are doing, through out the year, and really try to lure you all in, to share your knowledge. It teaches me more than I can say. Thanks,

Think it's going to rain tomorrow??

And there it goes...my clean-up chore is at hand...the city trees doing its Fall event..leaves, leaves and more leaves falling..will wait a bit more, then vacuum and mulch on and on...till all is gone.

Such an incredibly mild fall so far. I did a walk about today and did some initial pruning of shrubs which are budding out already. Both my peonies and daylilies are poking out of the ground. I am fearful we will get a cold snap that will set everything back. It's not unusual to see snow in February.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

We are into the deep freeze up here. Well, for this time of year. In the teens with 5-9 mph winds. Brrrrr! Not going out for anything. Dang moose walked through one of my beds last night. Saw the tracks this morning. Just hoping the ground is frozen enough to protect my peonies. Sad Grumbling

My first frost is coming, and it promises to be a very hard frost. "Surprise!", all you plants!

The regular first frost is ~ 5 weeks late, and this hard frost will be around 1.5 weeks late.
