Sorry for the bad quality photo's..

This guy is popping up new shoots from its rhizome all over the place, I would love to try divide it up but I don't want to go ahead until I find out more about it. The leaves vary from a pale white/green to a dark green depending on the weather. The leaves are also very soft. Any help would be appreciated.
