It had 2 blooms a few weeks ago. And then, to my surprise, along comes another bud. I was fairly certain that I knew which night it would open. And every 15 - 20 minutes I'd go check on it. Well I was right except it opened during one of those 15-20 minute wait times while my back was turned! But it was lovely nevertheless. Have a look.

Next surprise was that the bloom was still open at 9:30 a.m. instead of the usual 7 - 7:30 a.m.

nice Joan. My Strictum had 9 blooms last week and now I see three more buds coming. Last week I had six blooms all on the same night which is a first for me. Its been blooming almost continuous for 5 months. The blooms do stay open to about 9am like you mentioned. Its nice see them at night and in daylight.

Very nice, microb. Maybe if I didn't abuse my plants I'd have more blooms. When I lived in Austin (where it's a little warmer than Dallas) the sun would hit the blooms by 7 and that would be all she wrote.
