I wintersowed this plant several years ago. It has stayed pretty small (about 12"). It hasn't spread either. It's a pretty color, but it just isn't thriving for me. However, I have to add, that entire bed hasn't fared well in the past couple of years so there may be some extrinsic factor at work (disease? insects?).

I have this plant as a border plant on one of my smaller beds, it's a profuse bloomer on the first flush, I cut it back and it will give a re-bloom in the later part of the summer. for me it gets no taller then 12" high doesn't spread or flop over, overall a nice plant

Sounds like one I'll have to consider for a spot for a short salvia.
