@dave - I use both a computer and an iPad. On the iPad, when I click on a photo and want to move ( with my finger - touch screen) the photo up or down to see all of it, only the posts BEHIND the photo move. I am unable to move the photo at all.

James - do you use an iPad? If so, load a large photo from the plant database, wait a moment, then try to move the photo with your touch screen. It's weird because only the posts behind the photo move, not the photo.

Click on the plant of the day photo and then try to move. It happens on some photos, but not all. I am thinking that it is happening on recently added photos in threads or specific posts.

I mentioned this earlier, probably in the main thread on the new system. I have the same thing on the iPad. On some photos I can't get to see the whole photo because it won't move while the threads behind do. One that I had that problem with was the first photo in the Plant ID forum that has a house in the picture. The bottom part of the picture was off the screen at the bottom and couldn't be dragged into view so I could only see the top of the house, not the plants.

if you line up your thumbnail just a bit too low on your IPad, you will not be able to scroll down the open file completely. You need to place the thumbnail as high as possible on your IPad monitor to be able to see/scroll the whole Photo.

Ursula - Thanks !!!! you are right about that. My concern is new people coming to the site and having this same problem because they don't know how to fix the issue. Is this an iPad issue?

I just checked it again! Simply line up the thumbnail with the upper edge and it will open properly.

I just realized, I view this forum and almost everything else horizontally!!
Vertically held, the pictures will open normally!! D'Oh!
The IPhone has the same problem!
Hold either device vertically and the pictures open completely.

Yes, I turned my iPad vertically, too. I prefer horizontal so it is easier to enlarge a section of the photo or post. My eyesight is not what it used to be.

Sometimes I can enlarge the photos and sometimes not. It all depends on where the smaller photo is located on the iPad screen as to whether or not you can manipulate the photo size to enlarge it for a closer view of something in the photo.

I don't know / can't experience what you're experiencing. I tried on iPad, iPhone, Samsung Droid tab, galaxy s7 phone, macbook, and Samsung laptop touchscreen. Shrug!

I actually have an iPad mini. Maybe that makes a difference?

Mine's iPad Air too. Maybe Dave has fixed something because I'm not finding the house image too big now but images won't move, trying to move it still moves the background forum threads instead.

Could you give me a link to a specific page that is doing this for you? Tell me exactly where to go, and which image to click on, in order so that I can experience this myself. (I do have an iPad to use for testing.)
