I have had this daylily for many years and will always have it in my garden. It is a wonderful bloomer and great performer. Have really never had any trouble with it. I guess if I were to find anything negative it would be that I like scape height to be taller. It is fertile but I have found that it does not produce a great deal of seed. My one and only seedling that I got from Flutterbye was awesome and I ended up registering it.

This is Jester's Collar (Black Plush x Flutterbye)

Cindy - You Jester's Collar is lovely. I looked at the children Flutterby produced and saw some amazing blooms on those intros. Very, very nice featured cultivar! Thumbs up

I have had Flutterbye for over 4 years. My main clump disappeared this year. I am beginning to think when there is a warm winter some dormants are not happy campers. But my secondary clump of two fans put on an awesome show this year. Here its bloom is fairly pale. This picture is most representative of Flutterbye's coloring.

May your garden spread joy!

As I continue to make changes to my garden in 2017 "Flutter Bye may be on my hit list to go. While I liked the colors it doesn't perform well for me.
