When a thread photo is proposed could a link be provided back to that thread?

That's actually not going to be at all possible, because the system does zero tracking as to where on ATP this image came from when you're importing it.

What I recommend is that you do the image import proposal in a new window, by holding the shift key down when you click on the propose link.

When once the proposal is submitted, just close the window and you're back in the place where you started from (the thread, usually).

Dave, I tried including a link in the comment of an image I proposed. The link went back to a thread with more images and discussion of the plant. The link showed as text so I edited it out. Is that what zero tracking means?

No, in talking about the tracking, I was simply explaining why I can't present a link for you back to where you were when you were finished proposing the import of a picture from the forums.

I'm not sure what happened with the comment you're referring to. I'd need to see it to see what you're talking about.

Okay, that's the caption for the image. You shouldn't be links in captions. Those are meant to be very brief, like one or two sentences, and captions are not bb code enabled which means you can't add links to them.

If you want to add additional information to an image, then add a comment below the image. Once the image is entered, go into the full view of it (which is what you linked to just above this post) and scroll down to where you can post a full comment about the image.
