So, I'm updating my iris notes and you know how there's always a few that got away (or went to Rob)... and I am wondering what is the easiest way to see if I have something one of you guys would be interested in for next year. So far I have two different scenarios...

1) Let's say I remember someone had mentioned trying to find iris ABC, but can't remember who it was. Is the easiest way to look up the iris, then click where it says "5 members want this plant"?

2) Let's say someone shared this year and I know there were a few they were looking for but can't remember what they were. What's the easiest way to find their plant list? I tried looking at the plant list page, but if you haven't updated your list in a while, you don't show on there.

In either case it would depend on if they have kept their plant list up to date. If you do have extras of one that someone lists as wanting, you can always tree mail them to see if they are still interested. And if I see a post with someone looking for a specific iris that I have I try to make a note on my plant list to remind me (such as "to Darcy").

To find their plant list it is usually easiest for me to go to their profile page then pull up their plant list. For example - if I click on your site name above it takes me right to your profile, then I can click on your plant list. I am sure there are many ways that people do this on the forum, but that is what works for me.

If you have extras of a particular iris, look it up on the plant database, and see if anyone wants it. I gave away some iris using that method; I knew that they were going to people who wanted them.

I had to look for the mail options too, Lucy. After much searching I noticed the gray bar across the top and the little icons at the far right. Takes some getting used to. Smiling

The menu bar has thrown off quite a few people I think. The envelope turns red when you have a T-mail. The bell turns red when you have notifications. The person with the down arrow is your profile and settings.
