I have never been a fan of moving plants in and out twice every year because it forces the plants to make adjustments twice every year. Some plants manage the stress of relocation better than others, but in their natural environments all plants grow in one location for their entire lives.

I like to select appropriate plants for my various indoor locations with the understanding they will stay there more or less permanently.
