They are Rain Lilies (Zephyranthes), a member of the Amaryllis family. That's what they do - pop out of the ground in the fall and bloom and then they are gone. No, not dying, just doing what comes naturally.

thank you! their so pretty wish they didnt but i can say i enjoyed them all summer they bloomed one at a time all summer then about 2 weeks ago they started blooming 2 per pot at once. very nice. they came free with an order. i liked them alot!
