I had such a hard time finding this Iris available this year ..... and am determined to get it for next year - can anyone direct me to a vendor who sells this iris ?
And does anyone currently grow it who can tell me how it performs ? Thank You!

Sounds like you need some blood lipstick.

Napa Iris has it.

Schreiner's hybridized it, so they have Dracula's Kiss too. Iris Sisters' site is down for maintenance, so I couldn't check if they had it. Superstition doesn't.

Patrick, I have it in my garden. Here, it does OK , but is not a super fast grower. It is pretty though. I can let you know in the spring if it has grown enough to share.

Thanks, Pam for your kind offer - I'm sorry to hear that it is not a fast grower -
I had to shovel prune a lot of iris that just did not bloom for me last year, and I gave them 2 seasons to do their stuff. So I had to get rid of them. I'm hoping the new rhizomes that I just planted will bloom for me in the Spring. Thank You!
