Thank you, Jean. I never wear yellow or decorate with yellows, but I love yellow flowers just for their cheering ability.

@plantmanager Funny you say that. I love yellow flowers, too, but rarely wear it, too. If you compare our avatars, you will see what our color palate must consist of !

@rocklady. Yellow always looked terrible on me. I love to wear blues and greens, hot pinks and oranges. I'm happy there are so many wonderful yellows in nature.

Karen ~ Does Euryops Daisy live over the winter where you live?

At the time I took the photo I lived in Arizona and often it will last through the winter. Now we're in New Mexico, and I don't think it would survive here. We get snows and varying degrees of cold. The worst we ever have had was a -22 about 7 years ago. Most years it doesn't get much below 32F.

Karen ~ Yes, we get snow here every year, but not usually the cold extreme of our zone 8, which is 10 degrees. Usually our freezes do not go below 20°.

How do you like living in New Mexico? My grandmother used to live in Las Cruces. I visited her once there when I was a child. Before that, she lived in El Paso, where I was born.

We love New Mexico. Nice weather, gorgeous scenery, beautiful sunsets, and lower cost of living than AZ. Cruces is a nice place too, but a little warm for me in summer.

Yes, I agree on the hot summers. So what part of New Mexico is your home?

We're outside of Silver City at 6500 ft elevation.
