Is the intent of this feature to change on a daily basis, and just has not gotten up to speed yet? Or, will it only change sporadically? Reason for my query is I have positioned this prominently on my home page, but if it will only change now and again I'll likely push it to a less visible spot. I realize this is a small potato and am happy to wait for it to come into daily function if that is where it is going. Thanks.

I have mine up top too, Deb. I was wondering the same thing. It's ok to have something run 2 days, but it does get repetitious. I'm thinking that it's just not up to speed now. I wonder if we could send someone ideas for this, to make changing it easier?

The idea is that we're going to have something new there every day. But for the time being we only have enough of them to change it every other day.

Dave, maybe you could borrow some from Sharon, she had sone beautiful inspirations on Cubits.
Of course I don't know if you can do that, but it would be a good source.

Seems like to me that there isn't much fresh on the home page. My community idea has been there since Sept 30. Popular pictures remain the same for extended periods. Problems with Multi-plant posting aren't resolved. Oh well Shrug!

As there are tons of quotes available online (here's just one source http://www.brainyquote.com/quo... ) I assume it is the actual creation of a quote plus a photo into the correct size box with font changes, shading, and all that detail that is causing a log jam? Is there any way the membership could help with that, similar to submitting proposed banners? Perhaps have a standard template that we pull in a quote and a photo into, then let the Whitingers fine-tune?

Meanwhile, I will practice patience. I do realize there are more pressing things on the Whitingers' plates.

I'm the same way, Deb. Would love to see it change daily, but that is a lot of extra work. I found some copyright free download garden pics that might be able to be used here:

I really like the idea of having a template and letting the membership submit them like we do the banners. it would ease the work.

We've been out of town for the past week, and that is why some of the content on the homepage hasn't changed recently. We're back now and starting to get caught up. Smiling

I like the idea of allowing member submissions in a standard format, I might do one myself.
