...and you all might have already known about or figured this 'how to out.' The video is showing how to make an Autumn Fall 'Tree' decoration but all I could think about was what a perfect trellis for potted plants. Any other novel ideas from those of you loving your climbers?

So then I thought...I'm going to google and see what else could be done... NOTE: photo is NOT mine but from following article http://bestplants.com/clever-u...

“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...

I have not gotten very fancy. I only use bamboo and wire tomato cages, or the special 3 ring trellises for the special Japanese cultivars.

LOL - believe me when I say 'my style' is anything BUT fancy. I'd never thought of turning a tomato cage upside-down and banding the top to form a trellis for a pot. I was pretty dang excited when I saw that. Joseph - can you show me an example the 3 ring trellises you've used?

Sometimes you can score on ebay but I haven't seen these trellises for sale lately.

I like the tomato cage idea...might just have to try that next year!
