Hi! I am curious ... I don't seem to be getting notifications if someone responds to my posts. I am getting responses, but I only know that because I log into the forum to check. I checked my email to be sure it is correct, so I am not sure why I am not getting notifications.

Do we not get notifications of replies to our email box?

Hi, Kristi. Welcome to NGA. You will get Email notifications of replies if you request that type of notification when you post questions in the "Ask a Question" forum. If you post them in other forums, you won't be notified by Email.

Try going to "Your Profile" (the blue "head and shoulders" icon in the upper right corner of the home page.

Then "Change your site preferences".

Then the third row should be : "Private message e-mail notification?"

If you set that to "Yes, email me", you should get an email notification in your home email address when you get an NGA "Tree-Mail" (if they still them "Tree Mails").

I had forgotten that we give Dave our home email addresses!

@RickCorey, that's only if you want to be notified if you get a private message mail, (t-mail) not a response to regular threads. Kristi asked abut her 3 threads in a couple of forums and as Zuzu said, you have to come back to the home page to see if there are any responses.

Got it! I wondered if it was something like that - so I would only get a response notification if I asked a question. Thanks everyone - appreciate it!
