I know, Chris Group hug You are way too good to me! I think (hope) I just finished up planting until fall. I went from "wow, I can't believe how good I feel, and how much gardening I can still do" to "ugggg- I need to be *done now*" really fast.

My living walls will have to wait until fall or spring!

Love your new plant Trish. Lovey dubby
I saw one while in Las Cruces, I almost bought it, but didn't want to try and get it home with several more weeks on the road.

tarev said:I have had this noid succulent since 2010, a real enduring one, with the onerous heat that burns its tips at times or maybe getting the cold winter rains that may cause some unsightly rot, but bounces back quite well as soon as warmer weather comes back.

Used to be in this very tight container in 2010Feb:

Moved it to a a bit wider round pot in 2011Oct:

I removed the cacti beside it later on, so it won't get punctured by the thorns.

So surprised to see yesterday 29Apr2012 a bloom stalk forming for the very first time! I did not even know that this type also have blooms Big Grin

Just another updated photo of my succulent, which is I believe an Aloe aristata x gasteria: the blooms are more matured now and I think that is how far as it will go in appearing fully in bloom.
