I know, Chris You are way too good to me! I think (hope) I just finished up planting until fall. I went from "wow, I can't believe how good I feel, and how much gardening I can still do" to "ugggg- I need to be *done now*" really fast.

My living walls will have to wait until fall or spring!

So surprised to see yesterday 29Apr2012 a bloom stalk forming for the very first time! I did not even know that this type also have blooms

Bought at a nursery,no label

A type of Kalanchoe I think---some call it "flapjack plant".

Just another updated photo of my succulent, which is I believe an Aloe aristata x gasteria: the blooms are more matured now and I think that is how far as it will go in appearing fully in bloom.
