Your plants looks like a dracaena aka corn plant. Quite possibly this one Corn Plant (Dracaena fragrans 'Massangeana')
Be sure to keep the leaves free of dust as it can inhibit photosynthesis, hence the growth of the plant. Otherwise, it looks like a healthy specimen. Thumbs up Smiling

I agree, your plant appears to be a Dracaena covered in dust or sand; I'd advise a thorough washing of the leaves to allow them to breathe. Smiling

You can view photos for comparison and find culture information here in our database:

It looks like a type of Dracaena deremensis. The new growth is a very pale, weak color and strongly suggest a soil or pH problem that is preventing the absorption of nutrients. If you have been growing it in plain water for a long time that might be the problem. Otherwise, something is wrong with the quality of the soil or water you are using. pH refers to how acidic the soil is.

Just an FYI for anyone who might not realize, Dracaena fragrans is the correct species name; D. deremensis is a synonym.

From the Catalogue of Life (Sept 2016):
Dracaena deremensis Engl. - Species synonym for Dracaena fragrans (L.)
