I did not find a plant 'All Hail The Bold Ruler' were you meaning 'Master & Bold Ruler'?
The description of it sounds so nice, maybe in 15 years or so it will be in my garden.
I have never heard a daylily described as being strong enough to push it's petals open no matter what is in the way, that would really be unique!

I don't have any such funds for this promising cultivar. I can't help but wonder how it would do in my zone and climate. Sounds intriguing to say the least.

This last late June, I wanted to buy Jurassic Pink for a friend who has everything that he wants, but not Jurassic Pink.

I called Floyd Cove and talked to a most pleasant woman who explained to me that they were no longer shipping because of the heat.

I told her the story and that my friend's birthday was in July. She said she would see what she could do. I ordered two double fans, $100 total, plus $20 shipping.

I certainly was not expecting a gift. This pleasant woman who helped me surprise my friend, also sent me an $150 new introduction, Guy's Grand Illusion.

For this reason, I will be calling them within the next few hours with credit card in hand, and I will be ordering ...

Wow, Matter and Bold Ruler is the first one I have seen in recent months that I would have been willing to drop $100-200 on, but unfortunately not for a single fan, I don't think. But 11" blooms with thick petals, saturated red color, and great branching?...

Sadly, yellow edges aren't a draw for me at all, atleast not right now, but perhaps crosses with my white-toothed tet..... Maybe next year....

I guess I just haven't fell in love with one that deeply to risk the price of investment for the reward of the genes.... Okay, that's a fib... I'd gladly spend someone else's money on a few of Floyd's 2017 intros...
