Rob- I didn't get any mother potatoes from you but all the iris you sent me are very happy. Even with late planting they have all been growing well. Especially Looky Loo. Hurray!

I'd have to move snow to see if there was any growth on mine yet. Won't see much here for about another month.

1). Sure wish you would show up here with that rototiller!

2) With the losses you have suffered I think we need to send some back!

Ten of the mothers have made it to nice plants. The ones I kept in the unheated garage did fine and are growing great guns but the potted ones outside would start with a little increase and then get soft and spongy. The only one I was really sad about was Lovely Senorita that did not make it. All the first group of named ones I ordered are doing great and Flash of Light is over a foot tall already. Chinook Winds has 3 big healthy increases but was planted in the ground as was Abbey Chant and that Black one (Phantom) has 3 large increases. All NOIDs are doing great and I will be anxious to eventually see what they are. The jury is still out on a few of the mothers. They may yet do something and are still firm.

I don't recall if any of the rhizomes I got from you were Mamas, but everything you sent is alive and well. Bring that rototiller by! Hilarious!

Jane, I just saw this post. If you contact me around June I should be able to share a nice rhizome of Lovely Senorita. It's been a good grower for me.

Let me know. As long as they have a sprout coming, they usually do well.
