I always FEEL like it's the last one! How do you know? They always come out later with more! Like the buffet!

There's a reason they bring out lots of bread, salad and pasta first at a crab feed!

Here is how you tell when someone is determined to win an auction. They go in and up their bid twice.

I also do not buy many Evergreens. Here in northern North Carolina we usually have enough Winter to test hardiness. Too many Evr's have had that quality bred out of them over the years, and the problem is only getting worse, since the reason it happened in the first place is our insatiable apatite for New and Different Colors and Forms at the expense of Vigor and Hardiness. Any Evr's that I get are now potted and placed next to my house where the heat from the house helps them to survive. If we are going to get into the teens some night, they also get covered with sheets/blankets as well. Evr's are also more likely to bring Rust into your garden since the fungus survives in any green plant tissue. Evr's never go dormant. They just get beat down to a stub that is still green (hence the Ever in the name). Evr's need to be bred for increased hardiness, and resistance to Rust. This should be the main objectives of all daylily hybridizers who work with them, if they truly love this flower. We the purchasing public, should demand this, and not encourage this with our money.
