I'm having an issue with two loquats/Chinese plums dying and a fig. Not sure if it’s the same thing effecting both, going to post the fig pictures in a separate post. The loquats have healthy sections, and then dead sections; one of the trees has several trunks that go up and one entire trunk is dead. You can also see in one of the sections I posted a cut piece, its completely dry. So it’s dead all the way through the affected areas.
I've started cutting the dead parts out, but it’s very hard to reach them in some areas.
I'm not sure what is causing the deaths. Looking online just now my best guess is fire blight, but I wanted some opinions and hopefully some treatment advice.
Earlier in summer I noticed a lot of weblike things in the fig, and there is one in one of the loquats currently, so I included that in case it was relevant.
