Nope, just kinda wondered what he did to get into that kettle of fish.

I put up plastic on some of my windows yesterday, had to pull some of the lambs quarter to get near the house.... Collected some seed, winnowed them out in the wind... Toasted them in the frying pan, added them to the pancake batter this morning.... Crunchy... Very pleasant texture.

When reading about quinoa preparation, they always say to wash the seed. Didn't bother...

Might post some pics after I get them out of the camera.

They were purple.... A number of years ago....
Someone kicked down some tomatoes that were otherwise going in the compost... I got a second generation that year, and have been starting them from saved seed since.... They're not all that purple any more, but still good.... Our season is so long, that I direct sow my tomatoes and bell peppers in the garden, and set them out as the plants get large enough. The drought and the late start explains the lateness of the harvest.

A straggly little late-sprouting Zinnia next to an excess Euphorbia tirucalli (firesticks.) One can only put so many of the same plant in house or greenhouse. What an amazing color!
