Suzanne, the best paint is to use exterior patio paint but I almost never do. It's just too expensive to buy all my colors I use. So I use any paint I have on hand...the white for the background is reflective but you don't have to use that because you can touch it up anytime you want.
I've painted exterior walls etc with simple Delta Acrylics for years and they last a long time. GO FOR IT!
This is not curb art but it was painted on a cement floor. I used a variety of paints.
hmmmmmmmm, the uploader isn't working...I'll be back!

Chris...maybe you can find a friend that likes to paint and you can help her block in the colors, get her water, a sandwich.... Thanks for the compliments~
Thanks. It's a fake rock, left over from the building of the fireplace, After I painted everything on it
I went back sprayed it with a satin gloss. That made the background a little darker and brought out the flower's colors
You are right Becky forget even trying to do detail on it. Just ain't gonna happen
Save the planet, it's the only one with chocolate.
I printed out your "curbs" so my DH could see what great work you do. He doesn't come near the computer unless he absolutely has to. Going to think very seriously about the white wooden post with house numbers on it. I don't have any God given talents as far as art goes, but always can try.
