The first 3 are all the same; maybe the 4th.

Hardy Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum 'Hillside Sheffield Pink')
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

I've removed the fourth one because it was clearly a description rather than a cultivar name. It had no photos or owner information, so it was simply deleted. I'll merge the others when I find more information. Do you have any credible information that the Single Apricot Korean at Longwood Gardens is the same plant as Hillside Sheffield Pink?

I came across a comment from Danita (2011) at the bottom of the 3rd one above.

I added the alternative names in her comment to the also-sold-as block and deleted that part of her comment, but she didn't name 'Single Apricot Korean.' That could be a different plant.

A little ways down in this article -
http://garden.org/ideas/view/f...

says this -

'Chrysanthemum x rubellum 'Hillside Sheffield Pink,' AKA ‘Sheffield Pink’, ‘Single Apricot’, ‘Single Apricot Korean’ or ‘Sheffield’. Starts out in early fall with medium pink buds, turning to pale apricot in October.'

I think the Korean part is an attempt to classify it as a chrysanthemum type of bloom, like chrysanthemums with single, daisy-form flowers.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

Thank you for doing this research. Your explanation of the "Korean" portion of the name is quite persuasive. I'll merge this one with the others. Thumbs up
