So I heard I may have a historic Iris. It is way more hardy and tuff that any other Iris I have ever owned. It was growing wild at my parents house when they bought it in 1964. I have had them eversince. Tought and keeps coming back. All the other Iris I had never lasted more than a few years. Where do you buy them?? I want more of the tought guys.

Hi Stush, welcome!

You'll find quite a few places that carry the historic irises. Our other forum moderator, Irisloverdee will be carrying some this year. Her business is Snowpeak. Also Superstition iris has a lot of historics.

Here's Superstition. You really need to order a catalogue from them , as they only have some pictures online

Here's where you get the catalogue from

Here's Snowpeak

I'm sure others will have other sources, but those are two I find very reliable.

Getting the database almost am finding more and not just bearded but some beardless as well. I will not be able to list the ones I just got but many others and thank you Polly for telling others that I still do have historics. For a while there was little or no interest so did not bother to list them, but this year more will be included.

Can't wait to see the website. I saw one already updated. I forget who, but I think more are getting updated earlier now.

Hope you have some new beardless that I might need. And historic, ooh, baby! LOL.
