When typing on my Kindle Fire, the toolbar (Learning Library, etc.) drops down and covers part of my text box and I can't see what I am writing. I am not very adept at the Kindle Fire but is there a way to make the toolbar go away or move up further?

Could you post a picture or screenshot of what you're seeing? Also, what kind of Kindle fire is this?

Kelli - I don't know what kind of Kindle Fire I have but I have logged onto NGA and Cubits from it and I don't have that issue.

I hope you are able to get it resolved.

Dave, I have no idea how to do a screen shot and if it is even possible. Whatever Kindle Fire it is, it is the first one to come out. I don't know of any model name or number. It isn't a big deal. I use a regular P.C. at home. I thought it might just be something simple.

This won't be a simple one to fix. Some of those older devices don't render new websites very well, unfortunately. I think that original kindle fire came out 7 or 8 years ago. It'll be tricky to fix.

If you have a digital camera, you could take a pic of the Kindle screen to show what is happening. I have one too, but haven't tried to go online with it other than to check out library books.

I have no way to load from my camera to the Kindle Fire. It doesn't take memory cards. I'll just have to live with it as it is a few more days. I won't be spending a lot of time here. Dave, if it is not a simple fix, don't bother. Thank you for trying.

I just meant to take a pic of the screen and download it from your camera to your computer and upload it here for Dave to be able to see what you're seeing.

I have no computer here but I can do it at home if I remember.
