Rita, in Gerda Brooker's site, she says this is a bright tangerine and it's registered as tangerine ruffled self. Your image looks pale cream. Do you have any other photos of this one that are closer to the registered color?

From her website.
"It's the unusually bright tangerine color, which drew me to this one. Very large, always wide-open form helped it to be noticed as well. Although I registered it as semi-evergreen it tends to go dormant. The tangerine self is pleated with a ruffled edge trimmed in yellow, which imitates the color of the throat. The only other color nuances are in the pleating of the petals, which are a deeper tangerine color."

Sue, I bought it directly from Gerda but I do think my picture is much too pale. I honestly don't know if I have any other pictures or not as my pictures are all over the place and there is no way to find one particular daylily. But now that you remind me what it SHOULD look like, my picture is a very poor example or just the wrong daylily. Best thing would be to deleate it so that anyone looking in the database does not get confused.

Thanks for catching this!

OK I'll delete it. I do hope you at least did get the right one from her!

I just went and looked for the plant were I used to grow it and it is not there so that means I moved it (I move daylilies a lot) but now I can't remember were I moved it too. No matter, It will show up blooming next year (or maybe not!). It could be the wrong plant as I had gotten the wrong plant from her before and she even replaced it but now I am thinking it is wrong again. Oh brother. Never mind, off with the picture and I have plenty of other daylilies.

I have been putting mostly iris pictures in the database the past few days. I see you found some duplicates. Sometimes I hit the submit button, nothing happens, so I hit it again. Sometimes I guess it gave me duplicates. Sorry!

Yeah, it's because the site is running slow until Dave gets the new servers up and running, I sometimes have have a wait adding images and posts, just have to be patient. So usually when you hit it once, look for it loading in the tab and just wait. Thumbs up
