Julia, I really like that succulent with the white on the edges . . . do you know what it's called?

J, I love the Lachenalias, I have some yellow and red ones I've had for years. They have been reliable bloomers for me. I keep the r & y ones in a half wine barrel with a small palm tree.

Liz, I had a Crassula similar to that one and liked it very much...then I let it get too wet. Sighing! Sticking tongue out


They are, Julia. Smiling Been a weird bloom season and I think I will--unusually for this yard--have both Iris and Daylilies blooming at the same time. Generally, the Iris are finished before the Daylilies start up. Going to be fun!

The Iris are all so lovely. Mine are just starting. The large two-tone purple all came up first, now the next flush is going and I look forward to seeing the different colors. I have a gorgeous pure white one, can't beat the classics!
