@MISSINGROSIE We are in FL and won't get back to AR until April. I think that's what you meant. Since we were leaving the week after my supposed 13th appointment, I had to do everything from FL. When you can't even get to your doctor's nurse to make an appointment, it is frustrating.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

I am happy my ultra sound of my heart is over and the results are in. I have one valve that is a bit slow in opening and closing. Out of a 2, mine is a 1.8, so they are not treating it and I am scheduled for another one in a year. Could have been worse. I have no restrictions and my meds remain the same. Hurray! Not bad for 88.

Jacquie, I think that is absolutely good news at any age, but particularly great news for an 88 year old. Hurray!

Happy that the snow stopped. Happy that it did not amount to much of anything. Happy that I swept off my porch steps and front walkway already.

Happy that January is over and done with, and that it's payday; not so happy that I got caught up in taking care of other things that had to be done (a routine appointment at the vet's office, for one thing) and probably won't get any of my seeds started today, as I had planned. Oh well, I still have it to look forward to this way! Smiling

Happy to have ordered Sugar Cube Cantaloupe Melon Seeds and not have to pay for shipping on only one seed packet. Free Shipping day at Harris Seeds!

Sugar Cube is a very disease resistant tasty cantaloupe but it is very difficult to find the seeds for it. Now I am set for my melons for spring seed starting. Happy!

Melons too?? You never spoke about melons last year. Were those in the photos?

Don't know if there were pictures. But I grew some cantaloupes. Will grow some again this year as those cantaloupes last season were mighty tasty.

I grew Sugar Cube some years ago, haven't had it since. It is a good one. Will also grow the green fleshed ones I grew last year called Arava. Those were sooooo good.

I am happy because I found Machinery Pete radio show again.
They were talking about the latest in farm tractors,---- finding decades old ones that have never been used and buying as an investment.
They said this is something new but some have been doing it for a long time while others for odd reasons were bought , parked and never turned another wheel.
It should be a good day.

Moving back to Happy People because my blood work results show I got my cholesterol down to 175 . It was 211. My bad cholesterol is the only high one and that is down from 145 to 113. Thank you Lord. I have not had it this low since 2011. Hurray! Hurray!
