I just checked ilovehosta.net has 3 left in stock. Right now they are doing 10% off over $30. And their shipping and handling charge has always been $3.99 no matter size of order, I'm guessing that is still the same. The site says still shipping. Myself and a few of the other Heuchera people have used them , and have been satisfied with the plants we received.

Thanks NJBob, I found the website and ordered two heucherella's. I did not even notice the Redstone Falls, but I did get the Appalachian Trail and could not resist the Solar Eclipse. I saw some silver ones I would love also but they were sold out, I will wait till spring and get a few more. I also saw a lot of Hostas, I thought the prices were kinda high for a 3 inch pot but they do have available what other nurseries have been sold out of. I love shopping the sales but if they are out of all the good stuff, it is useless. Blinking I have recently put in an order with New Hampshire Hostas, they have 33% off and free shipping over 50. They do not have a good selection of heucherella but I am getting a Citronelle. Also I got four Georgia Peach from yahoo coop, they have good prices on liners. Big Grin

Mason Hollow Nursery has a fairly large selection of Hosta, pretty good selection of other plants also. At this time of year a lot of places are most likely low on inventory. Another online source for plants that run a lot of sales is Santa Rosa gardens.

Thanks Bob, they are both good companies. I was real impressed with Santa Rosa, I will check them out in the spring. I have a wish list and basically I go with the best prices. I also have to consider the size of the plants, Do you know how big the plants are at these companies. In general I mean, do they sell one year, two year, etc. Confused

My guess is that Santa Rosa sells 2nd year , everything I've received from them has been a nice size for a 4 inch pot. They run some very good sales during the summer and start of fall and check for coupon codes . Mason Hollow carries a lot of new varieties that would be first year , but give you a call to see if you want them if they are to small. There is another place I have not tried yet called PremiumPlantPlugs.com
that looks to have good prices.

Yes you are right about that Bob, I have visited PPP.com and they are a good source for the hard to find. I have several liners right now because that was the only thing I could afford with certain varieties. Last summer when Country Boy's had the end of summer sale I got at least 30 liners for two or three dollars a piece and they have done well. Also Country Boy's is good company. They had a little bad luck last summer with a bad storm that came through. Sad (oh, I called them liners but they were really one year plants, my bad. Sad
I did not know they had Heucherella also. How are the shipping fees? This would be a good way to add some companion plants to my Hosta Garden. Whoohoo! Hurray!

I have not purchased any thing from them yet, so I don't know about shipping charges. I never heard of Country Boy's I'll have to check them out. A place I did get a few things from this year was called In the Country Garden the plants were not very big , but prices were good .I did not try any Hosta from them . I did get Hosta from a place called the Hosta Farm , they don,t seem top have the best reputation but when I got mine they were a very nice size and were pretty cheap. Please let me know if you ever see Hosta Athena at a reasonable price so far it's way out of my budget.

The best thing I've seen so far is 34.95 at the 'Streaked Hostas.com' most others want 60.00 and this Hosta I saw is a 4 inch plant. If we keep our eyes open we should be able to find a liner or one year plant for less.

I will check out the Hosta Farm and add them to Bookmarks for spring. I will let you know if I see Athena liners anywhere. Big Grin

They should, but in spring check around for liners or one year plants. Also why not ask your local nursery if they could get one for you, you might be surprised.
