Oh, I love the photo of Seedling 07-31N2 in the bulletin. Oddly, that's the second time today that Corralitos has come up on the Web for me. I was looking at the Roses of Yesterday and Today site earlier. It must be a gardening paradise.

It sure is -- and Maryott's Daylily Garden is right there by Joe Ghio's growing field too! Sue, her mom and I were all there in August. And I believe that's the seedling I really love too -- actually I love all of them!

Edit: Actually, upon rechecking, my favorite seedling is the other one, the yellow based iris -- really love that one!

Love those mocha colored edges of SUPERHERO and PLOT LINE, very cool. Sigh is right, I am already looking forward to spring and winter hasn't even started!

I saw Superhero at Keith Keppel's garden last spring, it's really impressive.

While I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska, I met a woman next door to a customer of mine who was growing chocolate irises. She told me got them from a friend in Juneau, AK where they proliferate. I was never able to get any to try but I am going to plant them here in Easter Washington this next fall. They are absolutely gorgeous.

could you tell us more, never heard of chocolate iris, you mean the color of chocolate?
