Hi! I bought these bulbs, planted them this Jan. and now they bloom. But they do not look like the ones pictured in the catalog. Any help directing me to their possible ids is greatly appreciated.

This is supposed to be Sweet Nymph

I changed my mind on that second one - I think it might be Ambiance.

Christie, Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! So nice of you to help me with these ids. My relatives ask me about their names but I don't want to give them the wrong names in case they like them and decide to get them. Many thanks again.

Karen, where did you get these bulbs? Sometimes that is a clue is IDing them. I think that your double is Sunny Nymph not Sweet Nymph. However if it is a Hadeco cultivar it could be Stars and Stripes. As to the single red and white, Its hard for me to tell, but does that have a red (dark pink) picotee edge? I not convinced that it is Ambiance. My photo of ambiance has much more red and a distinct picotee edge. Two other possibilities are Amorice (which has the picotee edge) or Sydney ( which doesn't have the picotee edge). So that bloom may be a bit harder to ID,

Barbara, I am not aware that there is a variety named Sunny Nymph but wow, they both look very similar, Sunny Nymph and Stars and Stripes. Examining them closely, I think my NOID looks more like Sunny Nymph than Stars and Stripes.

The second one is really hard to tell. It looks similar to all of the ones that you and Christie suggested. That is ok. I am glad to know that there are many others out there that look similar to this second NOID. I am sure my relatives will be happy with either one of the choice I direct them to. Thank you.

The last one looks just like my 'Moonscene'. There's an old timer called 'Grafitti' that's very similar so look up pictures. Hope this helps. Thumbs up
