Once a few started to bloom the nights have been in the 30s and 40s.
This would not open enough to get a decent photo today but I did save the pollen and put some pollen on it.

This has tried to open a couple of times since the first bloom in Feb, but just to cool.

So disappointing to have cold temps keep the early blooms from opening. Hopefully the weather will warm and you'll be able to share some images with us soon...both cv's look like they have gorgeous patterns!

Had almost decent blooms on the two above. With temps in the 50s this morning they are a ways off from Pats photos.

I've had blooms from Beautiful Edgings almost every day. And South Seas blooms every few days, too. I am seeing lots of scapes popping up in the various garden beds.

It is supposed to get down into the low 50's and high 40's over the next couple of evenings. I also got some badly needed rain. Plants are smiling today!

Well, Ginny, my momma calls me Ginny, my husband called me Ginger, my grandchildren call me GiGi. It is a rather versatile name, glad you like it!

When I was in school I had a not so favorite teacher that called me Miss Virginia and that's when I picked the nickname Ginny. I also get GiGi but not Ginger.

I have lots of scapes in the seedlings which is normal for me, but some of the first seedlings that will bloom will be from TET LILLIAN'S THIN ICE, this is kind of strange to me because the things from the dip version like LILLIAN'S VAPOR TRAIL and LILLIAN'S WHITE LIES will not scape until mid April. The seedlings are two years old and should be mid season bloomers not early season.

Should freeze tonight so I may have no scapes tomorrow.
