Super container plantings, Ryan! You're inspiring me to put some together too. I certainly have enough different succulents to make them interesting.

Hey Ryan! Glad to see your thread! I am about 1.5 hours south of Sacramento!

Love your collection! I also grow some Semps here, but not a lot, I had them get toasted during summer, or bolting like crazy when temps soar and I am learning now to give them better shade. This past winter was a bit dicey but otherwise awesome for them especially the long cool down of early Spring.

Sorry to hear about your Adenium. Do try again! That is one I can grow here, just got to hide it during our winter season, as it goes to sleep.

The temperature heat up has started...time to get ready to provide much needed part shade to the semps.

Thanks for everyone's feedback on my containers! I can't wait for the sake which will happen Mother's Day weekend. It's going to be kind of an opening for me selling succulent arrangements at my farm stand on the weekends.
It was SO hot today, but I'm happy to say it's suppose to cool back off this weekend.
I feel like a Debra Lee Baldwin in training Big Grin
Maybe one day my containers will make it into a coffee table book.
I still have many more to make between now and the opening sale. I'm not a huge fan of sedums but I have some growing around the property I may harvest and use in some of my other containers. I really wish my senecio string of pearls and string of bananas starts filling in its "mother" pot so I can divide it.

About Adeniums, I'm hoping to relocate down toward LA hopefully this winter. If/ when that happens I will definitely try growing Adeniums again.

Great pictures! What is that top dressing you are using? I love the look of it. Much nicer looking than the plain gravel I've always used. Lovey dubby I also see we have the exact same plant rack! Green Grin! makes it super easy to drape bird netting and shade cloth onto!

I guess there's an advantage to having your website moniker also be your real name, Patty!
Why didn't I think of that??????? I've gotten mail wondering what the first part of my moniker (webesemps) meant...like do I have a website of semps? .. or am I referring to the arachnoideum class of semps?
