Thanks for posting 'Liberty Bell'. I had that on my Land of the Giants list, but think I'm going to remove it!

'Stealth' June 20 is supposed to be streaked but it has nearly entirely stabilized to what?? So far I've not been able to find out if the stabilized form has a name.

Ann Your stealth is so beautiful. Lovey dubby I know I had it on my wish list but something changed my mind. I wonder if it was this: Really ugly hosta. I really don't need more views of this thing. Rolling on the floor laughing

I dunno. Looking at your link to Stealth and the image on the site from whence it came, the colour doesn't look quite right to me. http://www.goldenbrookhostas.c...

A bit of background - this was originally sent to me, marked 'Lakeside Mom' but with a note to watch it as it may have sported. Well, they confirmed my June that it wasn't LM and sent me the proper plant. I got to keep it and the owner of the nursery told me it was 'Stealth' when she saw my garden later that summer. I think I'll ask her again.

Then again, looking back at the pics the first year I had it (2009), they got progressively darker as the season progressed. This pic is from mid-July that first year when it was still streaked. The earlier pic was late June, I think.

I agree Your pictures are great but the ones on the website look more like 'spilt milk', I really don't like the streaked hostas but I love the variegated ones no matter what color. Green Grin!

Yea, nothing worst than a vacation. Glare
We have not had much of a winter, actually I'm still waiting. Did some wintersowing and got sprouts way too soon and they froze now it's back in the sixties and seventies and stuff is sprouting again, even the trees are budding. I have seen Saucer Magnolias and Red Buds in full bloom . Blinking Almost all my Daffodils have bloomed, and the tulips are coming up. LOL Hilarious!

Ice Age Trail ahs been fine in my slug infested garden!! they stay away from him -- other than it being a slow grower I like him lots!!!

Fickle Blue genes gets eaten by the slugs but so far so good -- I have only had her in the ground since last July!

Yeah - the only problem I've had with IAT is that it's a VERY slow grower. Have had it 6 or 7 years and still only 2 eyes at emergence.

tcs1366 said:I purchased a bunch of liners from Ed, hoping in the spring they are as pretty as they were when i got them.... Then I saw something he posted on FB, so i wandered over to StreakedHostas, and found his "bargain of the day" was Brave Attempt, and I snatched it up. I can not seem to find any images I took of it though. Pretty streaker though!! and for the life of me, I can't recall where I put it... Hope I left the plant tag with it.

I just surveyed my yard... i can not find the plant tag... so i have no idea where it is, or if it survived.
I'm so bummed.
