We've always celebrated Thanksgiving at my mom's house. Even in the years since she passed, my brother's family and mine would get together there. I would do the cooking, they did the clean up. Worked good for me. This year my sister-in-law's family decided they were going to get together on Thanksgiving for the first time, so that leaves me and my kids with no where to go. So, I'm going to my son's apartment and my daughter will come over early, too, and, we will fix our traditional Thanksgiving dinner, with a bit smaller turkey! I'm a little disappointed, because the holidays are the only time we all get together, but it will be great, we have a lot to be thankful for.
Yes, we do have much for which to be thankful.
