Great banner! One of my favorite flowering trees! I am just a little to far south for them to thrive. I planted one 3 yrs ago and it is just not happy here. I get a few flowers twice a year (Nov and March) but never a full coverage and leaves look bad most of the time.

Scott - they only bloom once a year in this area. The leaves can certainly get bad unless the tree is sprayed (but never sprayed at bloom time). So many things like to nibble on them. Like those dang canker worms. But then, they eat everything.

Goodness, thanks to all for the additional thumbs and acorns. I am happy that this tree is special to so many!

Cool banner, Leslie. Was traveling back to AR from FL and missed it yesterday. We have a tulip tree in FL but our blooms aren't as beautiful and bountiful as yours.
