I've seen photos of tagged Monarchs before, but never saw one outside in real life.

I had one of my tagged ones hang around for several days......I only knew because I kept catching it over and over when trying to capture others to tag.

You have to purchase the tags and use them at the fall migration period. After you have your info recorded you send it in and it is added to the database for that year. It can be looked up later to see if your tagged Monarchs were recovered in Mexico.

There are lots of children and teens in my neighborhood. I think I might put up a mailbox or something of the sort to put some of the bookmarks in for them to take a long with maybe some milkweed seed packets. What do you think?
